ESWL, Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy, is a surgery we perform here at The Urology Place to treat kidney stones that are unable to be passed naturally.
During this non-invasive treatment, the patient is sedated while the surgeon uses X-ray imaging to target the kidney stones and transmit high-energy sound waves directly to the affected area. The waves pass through the body and break the stones into smaller pieces that can then travel out of the body through the urinary tract.
Here at The Urology Place, we offer our patients a self-pay rate for the surgery performed by Board Certified Urologist, Dr. Naveen Kella.
Self-Pay Option
We offer a self-pay rate for our patients looking to do this surgery outside of their insurance. The cost of the surgery is $7000 which includes surgeon fees, surgical facility fees, general anesthesia, and possible stent placement.
